ROLE DESCRIPTION:
This is an in-person part-time position from 9:30AM -1:30PM Monday through Friday in our office.

In this specific Customer Service Representative role with Lenschow Insurance & Financial Services, Inc., you are an integral part of our Customer Care and Customer Relations team where you will be one of the first points of contact from current and potential customers calling the office, coming into the office or reaching out via email/text. In this role, you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth that we have developed over the past 24+ years in our agency. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and strengthen customer relationships by providing outstanding service with each interaction.
  • Eagerly assist with customer inquiries creating an exceptional experience so much that they would want to recommend us. 
  • Assist customers with policy changes and updates.
  • Answer questions from customers regarding coverages, pricing questions or claim questions. 
  • Assist customers with filing insurance claims and follow up with customers to ensure their claim is moving along as anticipated.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions by documenting customer accounts to best facilitate a seamless approach from any agency team member who steps up to assist a customer. 
  • Coordinate with other team members and business partners to facilitate communication and ensure customer satisfaction. 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A genuine desire to help people and show a willingness to proactively greet and communicate effectively with customers, peers and community partners. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills. 
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred but not necessary.
  • Pay will be commensurate with experience/licensing. 
  • Must be/become licensed in Property/Casualty Insurance in the state of Illinois.** 
    • If you don't have an active Property/Casualty Producer license in Illinois, we will guide you through the process in order to sit for the exam.  After six months of service in the team following obtaining a new license, you are eligible for reimbursement of licensing fees.  
Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
